BS-7220 Communication Driver

 

BS-7220 Communication Driver is the driver to communicate with BS-7220 load cell controller of BongSin Co., Ltd. in Korea.

 

Note) BS-7220 communication driver designed for periodic data reading from BS-7220 controller.

 

1. Read settings

 

<Figure 1> is read setting example of BS-7220 communication driver.

Device part of  <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(Fixed to 9600), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively.

You can also set reading data type whether or not data is 'Stable' status (0: read always, 1 : data read when 'Stable' status, default = 0) by using option part.

 

BS-7220 communication driver¡¯s read schedule

Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:

1) STATION – Don't care.

2) Read command – Don't care.

3) Read start address –Don't care.

4) Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.

5) Read Size – Size = Fix to 1. ( Refer to <Table 1> )

S( 53h ) = Stable,

U( 55h ) = Unstable,

P( 50h ) = Peak

Start Addr + 1 Readed value

When input '1' at option part, readed data value is always 'Stable' status

BS-7220 communication driver store the same data in WORD, DWORD, FLOAT memory, but the data formats are different.

 If you click the icon  in protocol option part, you can see the dialogue box such as <Figure 2>.

You can also set reading data type by using this part.

2. Writing settings

BS-7220 communication driver don't support write settings.(read only controller)

 

3. Connection main power line and communication cable BS-7220

  Connection of main power line and communication cable are as follows.

   

Connection of main power line

Please connect main power input AC IN(default = 22V, 110 V = option) such as <Figure 4>.

Connection of RS-232C communication cable

You have to connect direct RS-232C cable to 9 pin communication socket. (Refer to <Figure 4>)
